Maundy Thursday

Join us Thursday April 6th at 7PM for a special Maundy Thursday Service.

Maundy comes from the Latin word, “Maundatum” which means “Mandate.”

“A new mandate I give to you, love one another as I have loved you.”

Jesus speaks these words to his disciples at the Last Supper after he washes their feet. This happens on Thursday night, before his arrest in the garden. As a church, we take time to remember Christ’s command to take the form of a servant and to love one another in the same way that Christ has loved us.

This night is a beautiful communion service and it’s focus on love and unity is crucial to a God honoring, vibrant church community.
