Kids Ministry

April Sound Church has a vibrant Children's Ministry. We offer year-round family friendly events for the children, including; Summer Kick Off, Summer Camp, FallFest and Advent Festival and many other family-friendly events throughout the year.

We offer traditional Sunday School during our 9AM service. Kids' Church at 10:30 AM features upbeat worship with lessons based on the Gospel Project curriculum. We use object lessons, crafts, and games to reinforce our Biblical message.

What You Can Expect

Upon arrival, you will find a SoundKids Greeter at the check-in desk to help check you in. Classes are structured by age/grade. In each classroom you will find a Lead Teacher and a Helper. Through worship songs, crafts, video based Bible teaching from the trusted Gospel Project curriculum, and related activities, SoundKids teachers are committed to sharing the life-changing love of Jesus. Here, children have an opportunity to develop their faith, share God’s love with one another, and build lasting friendships!

Our Commitment

Jesus loves and values our children, and wants to show them His love! We are committed to creating an atmosphere where your children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for always. In addition to criminal background checks, every SoundKids volunteer will be required to attend an annual training which covers safety in the classroom, best practices, and Child and Youth Abuse Prevention. We would be happy to connect with you to answer any questions or concerns you have about our volunteer screenings and training process.
